It really looks and feels like Call of duty. I havent played resistance, so I can only judge this game on its own. I hope it works.Ĭlearly, this game has been the center of a crap-storm. Purchased a vita-holder that has triggers and an extended grip. yeah, I have big hands, but my girl like them. barely any lag with the touch interface against cell phones. the screen is OMG beautiful, the sheen is awesome, and it works perfectly. It is everything you ever wanted, a high tech cellphone-like device that plays high quality games. How can I review the product? its actually 2 in one, so I guess I need to do 2 short reviews. Only you can determine if that's a good deal for you but I certainly feel like I got my money's worth and then some. Two games and a memory card for the price of a stand-alone Vita. If you plan to download games or have a Playstation Plus membership, I strongly suggest buying a higher capacity memory card ASAP, as large as your budget will allow. The memory card, although the smallest of the bunch and pretty much useless if you plan to download a lot of games, is still enough to get you up and running with the Vita Unlike buying a bare-bones Vita for the same price with no card and being unable to play until you purchase one. Unfortunately, I think the Zero Escape bonus was a limited time offer but even if you only get COD it still seems like you're getting a free game, so even if you're disappointed, you haven't wasted any additional cash. Again, I won't get into lengthy break-downs and reviews of the individual games but I doubt you'll find much bad or not to like about Zero Escape. Quite honestly, if this bundle offered a choice of COD or Zero Escape, I'd select the Zero Escape. If you're more a fan of adrenaline-filled button mashing shoot-'em-ups, this likely won't be your cup of tea, but if you like interactive thinking games or adventure games, then this is an excellent add-in game. On the other hand, Zero Escape is an awesome interactive puzzle game. The game is fun at times but I wouldn't buy it as a stand-alone. Multiplayer is okay but nowhere near the size or capability of the PS3 version and glitches sometimes make it an exercise in futility. In campaign mode the missions are very short, redundant and can be mercilessly cheap at times. However, I can certainly see the point of those who paid to purchase this game as a stand-alone. As an essentially "free" add-in, I don't have too many complaints. It seems people either love it or hate it. For the price of a Vita alone, to get two games and a memory card is an unbeatable deal regardless of how people may personally feel about the games themselves. This bundle, when purchased, included in addition to the Vita, two games: Call of Duty: Black Ops - Declassified, Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward and a 4GB memory card. Rather than a redundant interview of the Vita itself and and the included games, I will review the value of this bundle so you can determine if it's a good deal for you. I could see it getting a higher review from me anyway.įun, over priced, limited for the moment! If there is a memory card price drop or they allow 3rd party vendors to make memory cards for this system. Hoping more games come out for it first gen games arn't bad they are limited. Over all it's a fun! It's over priced but I'm still happy with it thus far. I suggest buying a case for the Vita and it's accessories. Bigger isn't always better but in this case it is. System fits well in my hands dispite the bigger everything. Easy to lose if your not careful! Sony provides you with a 4GB memory stick, trust me just go out and by a 32GB memory stick. That said Vita cards are just a little bit larger then the memory cards. Screen is a great size, game sticks VS UMD's loading time is cut in half. I digress the system itself is a blast! Call of duty really great game choice for the starter pack! Controls are easy to use. Come on Sony memory is cheep!!! Well your at it hopefully someone could give Apple the same memo. That said I expect to pay about $40 or so for the games. For a standard 32GB card costs over $100! As the usual Sandisk memory card won't work for it you need special "Sony" only memory cards. $249 is the retail price of the Vita, you think with the competition of the Nintendo DS Sony would have a more competitive price point.Īnother thing that bothers me is the price of the Vita memory cards.
